Both teams showed a very dynamic and open match, full of scoring opportunities.
Proweb was a favorite in this match and started pressing and attacking hard from the very start. Raita was riding the opponent defenders on his roller-coasters several times in the first halftime, but his shots always finished on the wrong side of the posts. Proweb took a lead after Varblane shot from the side surprised opponents goalkeeper. Jakubov added another one for comfortable 2:0 lead at halftime.
Instead of pulling back and defending the lead Proweb started with additional attacker in second halftime, which made the match even more exciting. Judging by the number of good scoring opportunities it’s a miracle this game didn’t finish in double digits. However Proweb did increase the lead to 3:0 trough Kuusk shortly after the start of second half time. Opponents lowered the score trough a smacking free kick by Osmjorkin. Proweb answered with a goal from Selišek for comfortable 4:1. Then followed the period of 10 minutes where Proweb didn’t score from at least 5 beautiful chances (including the +40 m shot from our goalkeeper which hit the crossbar), while the opponents lowered the score again to 4:2 after counter attack. Winner of this match was never under the question, and Raita confirmed it with his goal in last minute for final 5:2.
With this win Proweb secured the 3rd place in this league already before the last round which is played next week.
