Routine 5:0 win over young and ambitious team of TJK Legion in third round of IAFA league.
FC Merivälja took the lead already in first minute, after Tebyanian took the ball in the center of the field, played short “one-two” pass with Selišek and scored after dribbling trough opposite goalkeeper. In 6th minute Ojamaa intercepted the ball in the center of the field and increased the lead with precise shot from the edge of the box. FC Merivälja created several more good chances in the first halftime, but the halftime score remained 2:0.
In the beginning of second halftime Tebyanian intercepted the ball in our defending zone and swiftly executed counter attack for his second goal of the match. Later on Kuusk added two more goals (first after another counter attack and nice pass from Metsmaa and second one right after, when he stole another ball from opponents and finished with a precise shot).
First clean sheet this winter puts us alone to the top of the league table with maximum points.
In next round we are facing Avengers, who are currently in second place in the league.
